La. furniture salesman guilty of spying for China
McLEAN, Va. (AP) - A New Orleans furniture salesman pleaded guilty Tuesday to spying for the Chinese government and providing Beijing with secret information on military relations between the US and Taiwan.

Cruise line: Woman was climbing balcony-to-balcony when she fell
Norwegian Cruise Line says the woman who fell off one of its ships on Sunday may have been trying to climb from balcony to balcony on the outside of the vessel -- an extremely dangerous maneuver.

NC community colleges halt illegal immigrant policy

Immigration arrests at Iowa meat plant total 390
CHICAGO (Reuters) - Immigration arrests at the Agriprocessors Inc meat plant in Postville, Iowa, totaled 390, making it the largest number of such arrests at a single US location, an immigration official said on Tuesday.
